What we promise, and what we ask

The rules of the day, written plainly. When we open, what happens when somebody is unwell, and how leaving works.

None of it is a surprise later, which is the entire point of putting it here.

Opening hours & collection

The daycare and vuggestue is open on weekdays from 08:00 to 16:30, except on the days shown in the holiday calendar.
Late collection is strictly discouraged and is charged separately at the end of the month.
Only parents or designated persons may collect a child at the end of the day. If someone else is collecting, please send written permission in the morning with the details.

Illness & absence

If your child is unwell, please keep them at home.
If your child becomes unwell during the day, staff will call you on your day phone and ask you to collect them.
Staff do not administer any medication.
For any absence or delay, please tell us by email before 09:00.

Paying, and being late

If we have not received payment, a reminder is sent after 5 days. Each reminder carries a fee of 100 DKK, and up to 3 reminders may be sent.
After the 3 day grace period stated in the reminder, statutory late-payment interest applies to the overdue amount at the Danish default rate (10,00% per year, being the Nationalbank reference rate plus 8 percentage points), calculated from the due date until paid.
If you have already paid but forgot the reference, reply to the reminder with proof of payment showing the date and amount, and we will match it - no reminder fee or interest is charged.
In case of very late payment, or repeated payment problems over 3 months or more, a deposit may be required to cover the last 2 months of the contract in order to keep your child's place.

Ending the contract

Notice to end the contract is always two months, and the two notice months are payable in full.
Notice must be given in writing, between the first and the fifth of any month. Notice given after the fifth counts as given the following month.
If your child has not started yet, the two months run from the contracted start date rather than from the day you give notice. The place is held for you from the day it is confirmed, and cannot be offered to another family in the meantime.
The two months are payable whether or not your child attends them.
Kidz R Os reserves the right to end a contract, and to refer the matter to RKI, if payments due are not received.
